There are two types of hologram application available for ID cards & Passports. One is overlay type which is transferred holographic coated layer to the surface of protection data and the other is patch type to protect with laminated transparent holographic thin film.

Hologram transfer type is used with separated coating layer for enhancing the durability of hologram coating layer.

Hologram laminate gives a more durability in protecting data and the level of security depends on mastering techniques.
